With the support of the Department of Culture and Languages Development of Atyrau Region, on June 27–28, 2024, the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore organized the regional exhibition-fair “Ulttyk koloner – tarih kozi.” The exhibition was aimed at promoting national values among the younger generation and supporting artisans who preserve and continue traditional crafts. Masters of decorative and applied arts from different districts of Atyrau Region took part in the exposition.

         As a result of the event, 20 craftsmen from Isatay, Inder, Zhylyoi, Kyzylkoga, Makat, Kurmangazy districts, and the city of Atyrau — who preserve and creatively develop national heritage — were awarded Letters of Appreciation on behalf of the museum director, M. Kipiev. The exhibition was attended by teachers and students of the A. Abai Regional Center, staff of the Institute of Professional Development “Orleu” branch in Atyrau Region, leaders and specialists of cultural institutions of the Department of Culture and Languages Development, local artists, veterans and museum employees, as well as guests and visitors.
