On February 22, 2025, the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore hosted the ceremonial handover of the “Ayaly Azhe” relay, organized in cooperation with the Regional Council of Veterans. The event was attended by the Hero of Labour of the Republic of Kazakhstan, renowned composer I. Zhakhanov, Chairman of the Mangystau Regional Council of Veterans S. Tuletov, Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Council of Veterans M. Uteshov and members of the council, as well as representatives of the “Khiuaz” Club, the Tatar-Bashkir ethnocultural association “Tatulyq”, and the “Inabat” Mothers’ Council under the spiritual-patriotic association “ELSANA.”

       The relay, aimed at promoting spiritual values, national traditions and customs, and the history of Kazakhstan, was officially transferred to the Mangystau Regional Council of Veterans. During the ceremony, M. Kipiev, Director of the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, presented S. Tuletov, Chairman of the Mangystau Regional Council of Veterans, with a five-volume scientific catalogue of the museum’s collection, featuring exhibits from its extensive holdings. The republican “Ayaly Azhe” relay, which began its journey in the Turkistan Region, continues to travel across the country and will now proceed in the Mangystau Region.
