A traveling exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary cultural figure Oryngali Musayevich Karasaev



       On November 23, 2024, the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore organized an exhibition as part of a commemorative event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the esteemed figure of the Atyrau region — statesman and public figure, veteran of the Great Patriotic War and of labor, Honorary Citizen of Atyrau Region, and cultural figure Oryngali Musayevich Karasaev.

         Oryngali Karasaev lived a worthy life, earning an honored place in society through his work and noble human qualities. His feats and achievements were recognized with the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class; the medals “For Courage,” “For Battle Merit,” and “For Victory over Japan”; various Jubilee Victory Medals; as well as the Orders “Badge of Honor,” “Parasat,” and “Kurmet.” He was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Atyrau Region and several districts. As a prominent cultural figure, during his leadership of the museum (1985–1988) he made a significant contribution to the development of the region’s history, literature, and culture. The exhibition showcased O. Karasaev’s orders and medals, his badges and certificates, as well as personal belongings — glasses, wristwatch, notebook, photographs, and other items. The exposition was visited by war veterans, cultural and educational workers, relatives, descendants, and relatives
