Traveling exhibition dedicated to the war and labor veteran Turdygali Mambetov
On November 28, 2025, a literary evening titled “Ken Zhylyoi, salkyn samal saialym-ai” was held at the Atyrau Regional Philharmonic named after N. Zhantorin, featuring poet and international “Alash” award laureate Marzhan Ershu.
During the event, the author presented her new book “Zhalgiz qol,” dedicated to the war and labor veteran Mambetov, who combined heroism and hard work throughout his life. As part of the literary evening, the Atyrau Regional Historical and Local Lore Museum organized a special traveling exhibition dedicated to the war and labor veteran Turdygali Mambetov. The exhibition showcased the veteran’s personal documents, photographs illustrating his service path, various orders and medals he received over the years, as well as other valuable artifacts. The exhibition was viewed by cultural and educational workers, representatives of the intellectual community, as well as the veteran’s descendants and relatives.
